Organic chemistry is one of the most difficult topics in chemistry. Under the new GCE syllabus reform, students are expected to understand the principle of chemistry rather than just memorize all stuff. This makes the exams even harder than before.
Organic chemistry workshop is a newly launched course, which is solely designed and engineered for exams. The course will be divided into two parts: Organic chemistry workshop and Advanced organic chemistry workshop.
Organic chemistry workshop is both for A Level and AS level while Advanced organic chemistry workshop is for A level student only.
Fees: £45 per hour
The course will be conducted via Gotomeeting.
The course contents will cover all contents in organic chemistry depending on the examination boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel) that students are going to take.
Organic chemistry workshop will take total of 12 – 14 lessons, 2 lessons a week, 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
Advanced organic chemistry workshop will take total of 16 – 18 lessons, lessons a week, 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
Students MUST take the ordinary organic chemistry workshop before taking the advanced one. The reason is students must learn the basic skills and concepts in fundamental course before they move to advanced one. And in advanced course, students are assumed they are familiar with the tricks and skills learnt from the fundamental course. Those skills would not be repeated in detail in advanced course. The course is highly intense, please prepare yourself before the lesson.
